Affordable Art Fair, Battersea 2017 takes place from 9^th to 12^th March and is one of my favourite occasions.   I am exhibiting my sculpture as usual with the Linda Blackstone Gallery .  This year I am showing interior stone carvings as usual, together with two new pieces of mixed media sculpture, combining soapstone with additions of flat forms making up the design.   I am also showing a small group of colourful semi-abstract acrylic paintings, based on interiors with my sculpture as a focal point.

Affordable Art Fair Battersea  is always an interesting and exciting venue to visit.   There are dozens of galleries showing contemporary art of all types and subjects.   Although it can be overwhelming in size, it is a very accessible place, with friendly and welcoming gallery owners who are very happy to talk about the paintings and sculpture, as well as their artists.  There are works of art to suit all tastes and budgets.

There are workshops and talks each day, focussing on all aspects of art, and a charity private view on Wednesday 8^th March in aid of Barnardos.  And you can always stop for a bite to eat or drink.   Do go and have a lovely day.
